Again, great shot. It's interesting how so many wonderful pictures come from spontaneous moments. Thanks for the background info, I'm always interested in the processing to learn something and better my own photos.

Nick: Yes I do recomend Lightroom. I think it's a very good tool for editing images. I've used Photoshop (work related) for the last 12 years, but I still find Lightroom easier to use for a lot of stuff. I guess it all boils down to personal prefrences. Give it a try and see what you think

I just read the story behind the shot. When you said I would be surprised to see the original shot, I thought it might be brighter, but still close to night, not broad daylight!
I really like the editing you did. Do you recommend lightroom? (and if you do, when is a good time to start using it?)

What an atmosphere! Have no words for it... (but i'm from a place where they don't speak English, so it's difficult to put it into words.)

The sky cast its angry blanket across the landscape as the last droplets of sun evaporated from the sky. Trees reached for the light;longing to feel its warmth but only felt the chill as the night took its hold. In its embrace we lie, waiting, and wanting for morn.
